Job Title: Applies Systems Engineer

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for the technical application and specification of industrial products and industrial ventilation systems. Provide technical assistance, system design drawings and product data to customers and or distributors in the determination and design of each application. Prepares specifications, product standards and other activities requiring knowledge of product design, engineering principals, and application expertise. Coordinates training programs and facilitates the education and communication of this expertise to distribution partners and factory personnel. Facilitates field installation and service on site at customer’s location to ensure system performance achieves customer’s requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Provides technical / application support, system design drawings and product

performance data to customers to achieve product solutions and maintain inter-

company and distribution support.
·Responsible for the specification and product standards necessary to meet industry

regulations and requirements. Participate in the process of engineering deviations

and changes to ensure the performance and integrity of product design.
·Participate as an active member in key product development programs relative to

specific phases or aspects of the program. Participates in the development of OEM

accounts with the sales regional managers and supports their needs. Prepare

reports as required.
·Coordinates customer system design with sales application personnel to ensure

design parameters, product manufacturing / vendor requirements and installation

logistics are accurately priced and timed properly to complete the turn-key system

in the customer expected lead-time.
·Facilitates field installation, equipment operation, warranty service and

maintenance on site at customer’s location to ensure system performance achieves

customer’s requirements. Works closely with vendors / suppliers to coordinate

complementary vendor supplied components and manufactured products seamlessly work

together.
·Coordinates training programs and works to ensure the successful communication of

expertise to industry distribution partners, regional managers, customers, etc.
·Effectively communicates through active listening; acting on input; sharing

information in an open, timely manner and encouraging others to do the same.
