Position Title: SQE Manager

Overall Purpose of Job:
As a special function which will be fully responsible to manage total Supplier Quality Issues.
Include supplier audit, provide technical support to suppliers, analysis and problem solving with suppliers.

Major Responsibilities:
Owns performance metrics of Customer Incident Due to Supplier and Supplier PPM of the Region.
_ A step by step plan needs to be evolved to bring all suppliers quality parameters under control and work towards achieving acceptable PPM Levels.
_ Ensures PPAP execution for new products, modified products and re-sourcing.
_ Execute a plan of PCPA audits at existent suppliers.
_ Define specific improvement plans for suppliers based on findings in current production and audits.
_ Strongly Supports 8D problem resolution at suppliers.
_ Quality crisis management at suppliers.
_ Supports purchase organization to evaluate potential new suppliers.
_ Maintenance of supplier score card system (QCDDM).
_ Ensures implementation and use a standardized work method.
_ Leads the Regional Supplier Quality Team and department cost control.
_ Organizes the cooperation between the Regional team and the Supplier Quality / Receiving.
Inspection teams at the plants.
_ Keep good cooperate with plant quality and other functions on business.
_ Resolve any problems in the quality of parts supplied.
_ Other assignment by higher level managers.

Education and Experience:
_ Mechanical engineering at Bachelor level or above.
_ 10 years experience in quality/ technical area, if experienced in field of casting or gears plus.
_ At least 5 years experience in management positions in foreign company.
_ Solid quality knowledge such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA , MSA ,SPC etc.
_ Solid knowledge on quality management system such as ISO 9000 or ISO/TS16949.
